There was an overwhelming amount of support for our school to introduce a wrap around care provision. After a successful application for funding from Derbyshire County Council, I can now confirm that we are able to go ahead with this.
Beginning 12th January 2026, We will be extending our breakfast club times and creating a new wrap around club after school. 25 places will initially be opened for Y1 - Y6, for both clubs as we assess its sustainability.
Breakfast Club will run from 7:45am - 8:35am. Children will still come to the reception entrance and wait to be let in. The cost of this is a flat rate of £1.
Wrap Around Club will run from 3:15pm - 5:15pm. Children will be collected from the reception entrance by pressing the door bell to be let in. The cost of this is flat rate of £4.
These flat rates will be regardless of the time you come or stay until. These prices are extremely competitive for the level of child care you will receive compared to most other schools and private nurseries in our area, and we have considered the cost to the school and the community we serve.
Both clubs will be bookable and payable through Arbor weekly. Booking will open from 12pm Friday and close 7am Monday morning. Places will not be able to be booked unless your Arbor account as sufficient funds and will be on a first come, first serve basis each week.
Children will eventually have access to a reading corner, board games, art and crafts and other activities.
